The Story of Beethoven
This striking image dates back to 1977, captured by Ian Redmond OBE while he was working in the field with Dian Fossey. It depicts the gorilla Beethoven enjoying a mouthful of Galium, also known as cleavers or bedstraw. As one of Ian’s most cherished photographs, we have reimagined it as a unique sketch with his blessing.
