What is CoolApe?
CoolApe is a UK-based eco-friendly apparel brand on a mission to protect Great Apes. We create premium organic cotton clothing and accessories, and a percentage of every sale goes directly towards Great Ape conservation projects around the world.
How does my purchase support conservation?
A percentage of every CoolApe sale is donated to Great Ape conservation organisations. We work with trusted partners including the Ape Alliance to fund habitat protection, anti-poaching efforts, and community programmes that help protect gorillas, chimpanzees, bonobos, and orangutans.
Is CoolApe endorsed by anyone?
Yes! CoolApe is proudly endorsed by Ian Redmond OBE, one of the world's leading Great Ape conservationists, who worked alongside Dian Fossey studying mountain gorillas in Rwanda.
Products & Materials
What materials do you use?
All our garments are made from GOTS-certified organic cotton or GRS-certified recycled materials. Our products are OEKO-TEX® certified, PETA-approved vegan, and free from harmful chemicals. We never use animal-derived products.
Where are your products made?
To minimise our carbon footprint, your clothing is produced at the most practical location closest to your destination. All our production facilities are powered by renewable energy and audited for social and environmental standards, so wherever your order is fulfilled, you can be confident it meets our high ethical standards.
Are your products made on demand?
Yes — we only produce what's ordered. This eliminates overproduction and waste, making our model more sustainable than traditional fashion manufacturing.
Sizing
How do I find my size?
Each product page includes a detailed size guide in centimetres. If you're between sizes, we recommend going for the larger size. If you have any questions, feel free to contact us.
Do your sizes run true to size?
Our adult garments have a relaxed, unisex fit and generally run true to size. Kids' sizing is based on age and height — please refer to the size guide on each product page.
Shipping & Orders
Where do you ship to?
We ship worldwide. Delivery times and costs vary by destination and will be shown at checkout.
How long does delivery take?
As our products are made on demand, please allow 3–7 business days for production, plus delivery time. You'll receive a tracking notification once your order has shipped.
Can I change or cancel my order?
As orders go into production quickly, please contact us as soon as possible if you need to make a change. We'll do our best to help, but we cannot guarantee changes once production has begun.
Returns & Exchanges
What is your returns policy?
We want you to love your CoolApe purchase. If there's an issue with your order — such as a defect or incorrect item — please contact us within 14 days of receiving it and we'll make it right.
Do you accept returns for sizing issues?
Because our products are made on demand, we're unable to accept returns for sizing issues. Please refer to the size guide carefully before ordering. If you're unsure, get in touch and we'll help.
